Looking for experiences abroad?

Are you between 18 and 30 and looking for an opportunity to help the wider community, in Europe and beyond?

You could do this with funding and support from the European Solidarity Corps, which helps young people take part in projects that benefit communities, either abroad or in their own country.

These projects offer an inspiring and empowering experience, as well as the chance to bring change while developing your skills and competences.

As a hosting organization AWO Kreisverand Konstanz e. V. can support you in this process.

The program covers an allowance as well as travel costs.

AWO Familienhaus Taka Tuka Land (day-care facility for children located in Singen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany)

Taka Tuka Land Family House is a day-care facility for children located in Singen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. The center offers a total of 45 places for children from age 1 to 6 in 3 mixed-age groups, each with 15 children. The opening hours are from 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and from 7:00 to 15:00 on Fridays.

In addition, the center has a complete artist’s workshop, gymnasium and an outdoor garden where children can play together and experience themselves by playing and working with art and colours, doing sports or by doing handicrafts.

The children are always accompanied by the educators. The main goal is that the interests of the children are being supported by the educators and the volunteers. Additional excursions to libraries, the city, parks or playgrounds take place. The day-care center is open to all children, no matter what nationality or social background they have. The children meet for breakfast and lunch in the day-care center, where you’ll support them as well.

Taka Tuka Land has a long-term experience in working with local volunteers in its organisation. The team, which is mixed of different nationalities, offers an exciting working area for European Volunteers.
